Application de modèles dynamiques bayésiens à la prévision des efflorescences à Dinophysis à Antifer (Baie de Seine) ArchiMer

L'objectif de ce travail était de mettre en place un outil mathématique permettant de prévoir les concentrations en Dinophysis cf. acuminata, micro-algue toxique. Nous avons décidé d'utiliser des méthodes dynamiques de prévision bayésienne : modèles polynomiaux du premier, second et troisième ordre, modèle polynomial du premier ordre avec intervention, et modèle de régression multilinéaire. Les modèles polynomiaux du premier, second et troisième ordre se sont avérés inadaptés. Le modèle de régression multilinéaire a été testé avec les variables concentrations en phosphate (PO4) et en nitrate (NO3). Impact des missions altimétriques et des réseaux de mesure in situ actuels et futurs sur l'analyse et la prévision océanique ArchiMer

Two series of Observing System Simulation Experiments (OSSEs) are carried out with global data assimilation systems at 1/4° and 1/12° resolution using simulated altimetry (satellite) and in situ (Argo  oat) data derived from a 1/12° resolution free run simulation. The objectives are to quantify how well di erent data sets can constrain a global data assimilation system. The positive impact of multiple altimeter data is clearly evidenced on sea level and ocean currents. The addition of Argo has a major impact to improve temperature and demonstrates the essential role of Argo together with altimetry to constrain a global data assimilation system. Exploited fish populations are dependent on recruitment (i.e. size of the new year class) to sustain their abundance. Recruitment variations are related to hydroclimatic variations and may accentuate the detrimental effects of fishing. Recruitment prediction requires accurate fisheries oceanographic tools, which are expected to be more reliable than large-scale correlation analyses between fish abundance and climate variables. Recruitment is the result of the integration over a season and large oceanic areas of processes affecting larval survival, which are dependent on small-scale mechanisms.
